City Sonic (1:52) This short KPCC video by Mae Ryan explores the work of designer, media artist and educator Alex Braidwood whose research is about the relationship between people and noise in densely populated areas like Los Angeles. His noise isolation headphones capture the sonic environment, which the user then modifies in real time transforming the relationship between the listener and the soundscape.
